Jimmie P. Thomas was born on May 26, 1952 in Belzoni, Mississippi to the union of Walter and Mary Thomas. He was one of nine children.
Jimmie attended Parker High School where he first encountered Ernestine (Tina) whom he later married and to this union five children were born.
Jimmie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He worked for Trans Logicx for over 25 years until he could not continue working due to his health. He was also an entrepreneur. He owned Gemini Towing. If anybody had car problems and needed a tow, they would call Jimmie. He was diagnosed with dementia in 2021. He was powerful and fought to the end.
Jimmie was well known for riding motorcycles, towing and fixing cars.
He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. During his later years, he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed attending antique car shows with his son, Cereal. He also enjoyed watching sports with his son, Jermaine. His favorite restaurants were Olive Garden and McDonalds. He also looked forward to his daughters, Lonjohnice and Darnesha picking him up on Frday and Saturday to run errands.
Unfortunately, Jimmie became sick on January 25th and was hospitalized until his death. God called him home on Sunday, February 11, 2024 to continue his next phase of life.
Jimmie leaves to cherish many family members and friends.
